Meet our Managing Director, OILSERV Limited

Nnanna joins Oilserv having lived, studied and worked across multiple countries and sectors. He is an Asia Global Fellow alum, Chevening alum, and Odgers alum. He has advised on Asia to Africa FDI flows, Access to Finance for the ECOWAS region, and has close to 20 years’ experience working across multiple countries in Africa, APAC, and the EMEA region in Oil and Gas, Management Consulting, Private Equity, Renewables and Green Energy, and Advising Governments, Businesses, Industries and Not for Profit organizations.

Mr. Nnanna Anyanwu

Managing Director

Nnanna has a BEng in Electronics Engineering and MEng in Electronics and Control systems from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. He also has an MBA from Cranfield University, also from the United. Beyond these Nnanna has been to study programs in Kobe University, Japan; Hong Kong University, China, The Boston Consulting development programs in Chicago; and McKinsey development programs in Austria, Kenya, South Africa, and Turkey. For his work, Nnanna has received multiple awards: Asia Global Fellowship; Odgers Fellowship; Chevening Fellowship and Nessco Fellowship Awards.
Prior to Oilserv, Nnanna served as a Partner and Managing Director at TAC EMEA region and oversaw its subsidiaries. He was Group Vice President Sunray Ventures; CEO Green Compass Recycling; CEO Daystar Rural Power; Engagement Manager McKinsey; Strategy Consultant Boston Consulting Group (BCG); Associate Director Business Operations IHS Towers and on Process and Systems Optimisation across multiple Shell assets. Historically, Nnanna has focused on Corporate and Business Unit strategy design and implementation; Growth strategy; New business development; Market penetration and growth strategy; Change management; Risk Management; and Large scale program management and Operational Excellence. He speaks fluent English and Ibo, and has limited knowledge of French, Spanish, Hausa and Yoruba.
Nnanna is the current Managing Director of Oilserv to drive its International Growth; Process and Systems Optimization and Project Delivery and Excellence.
Nnanna’s leisure activities include reading classical novels especially works of Alexandre Dumas; Recreational swimming, chess and scrabble; and classical music and theatre.
