Through our recruitment processes
60% of our graduate entry-level intakes last year were women. With the engineering field being a male-dominated sector, our workforce at Oilserv has in the past unavoidably had a larger number of men than women.
Today, the narrative is gradually fading away as we continue to take steps to welcome more women in STEM thereby promoting gender equality through our recruitment processes.
We have also instituted diversity hiring targets to improve the gender balance at all levels of our corporate structure.
Through the Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation (SEOF)
Since its incorporation in 2011 to date, The Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation has supported over 1500 young talents in secondary institutions through its scholarship programs, the annual prize-giving ceremony, and high-quality educational tools.
We have collaborated with local universities and Vocational and Technical Education (VTE) institutions in offering skills-based training and engineering working groups to connect young talents from federal universities across Nigeria to future-focused opportunities and informal careers.
