Driven by precision, funded by innovation

Technologies are evolving fast and have the potential to transform operations and deliver increased value.
At Oilserv, we pride ourselves in constantly overhauling our operating models and making the best use of modern and emerging technologies namely;
  1. Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD): Since 2007, Oilserv has delivered cutting-edge horizontal directional drilling services to clients. This technology is a versatile trenchless technology that is used in the installation of Oil & Gas Pipelines, Refined Product Pipelines, Water Pipelines, and Power and telecommunications cable. With the HDD technology, obstacles such as rivers, mountains, deep valleys, and roads, as well as swamp and nature protection zones are crossed easily. Oilserv’s HDD experience ranges from a 6” diameter pipeline to a 48” diameter pipeline.
  2. Horizontal Thrust Boring Technology: Our Horizontal thrust boring experience began in the year 2020 with the successful crossing of the East-West highway in Rivers State during the 12inch x 15km and 6inch x 15km crude oil pipeline project for Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria. Since then, we have delivered high-quality thrust boring services for numerous clients in Pipeline crossing with diameters ranging from 6 inches to 48 inches. Thrust boring technology is deployed particularly for crossing paved roads and rail lines without disrupting traffic or the need for road diversions. it is faster to achieve and less expensive when compared to conventional open-cut methods.
  3. Automatic Welding Technology: This eliminates the need for a manual welding system and enhances welding production rates and quality. Fitted pipeline joints are welded in a special welding tent.
    Oilserv is the only EPCIC (Pipelines and Facilities) company that has perfected this technology in Nigeria. To date, we have deployed the technology to achieve a total of 700km of pipeline works of different sizes (12 inches to 48 inches). The combination of automatic and semi-automatic welding systems has enabled us to create and maintain a high-quality welding workflow, ensuring flexibility, high efficiency, and high output rates.
  4. Hydraulic Cold Cutting: We deploy this system to simultaneously cut and bevel pipes without the use of open flames or producing sparks. its major application is in sectional replacements of defective sections of pipelines that transport crude oil or gas. This technology can also be used on operating platforms to perform flange or valve repairs. it allows for continued production while the repair is being accomplished. This results in maximum uptime and improved production from the unit.
