Oilserv Limited has taken another significant step in advancing Africa’s energy future through a strategic partnership with the Gabonese State, reinforcing the Group’s strategic position as a trusted African energy infrastructure and solutions partner.
At the signing of an Agreement Protocol, the Gabonese State, represented by the Honourable Minister of Petroleum and Gas, His Excellency Clotaire KONDJA, and Oilserv, represented by its Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Dr. Emeka Okwuosa, CON, formalised a framework for the development and commercialisation of hydrocarbon reserves in the DEF-3 and D4-5 blocks in the Gabonese Republic.

The Agreement Protocol also provides for the development and implementation of critical gas transportation, compression and treatment infrastructure to strengthen gas supply for thermal power generation and industrial development in Gabon.
This strategic partnership represents more than an expansion into a new market. It positions Oilserv at the intersection of resource development, energy infrastructure, gas monetisation and national energy security, key pillars driving Africa’s industrial and economic transformation.

With decades of proven experience in delivering complex energy infrastructure, Oilserv brings to the partnership its integrated capabilities, technical expertise and deep understanding of Africa’s energy landscape. The engagement further demonstrates the Group’s ability to move beyond conventional project delivery to participate in the creation of integrated energy solutions that unlock value across the hydrocarbon value chain.
As African nations increasingly seek to harness their natural resources to drive industrialisation, expand access to reliable energy and strengthen economic resilience, strategic partnerships of this nature will be critical. Oilserv is well positioned to support this transformation by connecting Africa’s energy resources to the infrastructure, industries and markets that create lasting economic value.
The partnership with Gabon further strengthens Oilserv’s growing continental footprint and reinforces the Group’s vision to be a leading African energy solutions company, deploying innovation, indigenous expertise and world-class capabilities to deliver sustainable energy outcomes.

Oilserv is not only building infrastructure; we are helping to build the energy systems that power Africa’s future.
