Meet our General Manager, Projects, Austin Bob-Manuel

Austin Bob-Manuel is the General Manager, Projects at Oilserv Limited, where he provides strategic leadership for the planning, execution and delivery of complex Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning (EPCIC) projects across Nigeria’s oil, gas and energy infrastructure sector. He oversees project governance, performance, resource optimization and stakeholder engagement, ensuring the successful delivery of projects in line with Oilserv’s commitment to safety, quality, operational excellence and client satisfaction.

General Manager Projects

With over 25 years of industry experience, Austin has built an outstanding career delivering major pipeline, gas and facilities projects for leading operators including NNPC, SPDC, NGPTC, Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited and NAOC. Prior to joining Oilserv, he held several senior leadership positions at Nestoil Limited, spanning project management, construction leadership and enterprise risk management, where he played a pivotal role in delivering strategic energy infrastructure projects and strengthening project governance and operational resilience.

Austin holds a Masters degree in process engineering from the University of Lagos and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Port Harcourt. He is a Fellow of the International Project Management Academy (FIPMA), a Doctorate in Project Management Professional (DPMP), and a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is also a member of several professional bodies, including the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE).

Leveraging deep expertise in EPCIC project delivery, project governance and enterprise risk management, Austin continues to drive the successful execution of world-class energy infrastructure projects, reinforcing Oilserv’s position as a leading indigenous EPCIC company delivering sustainable energy solutions across Nigeria and Africa.
